Women, Peace and Security Roundtable – Canberra

Join us in Canberra for a Civil Society Roundtable discussion on women, peace and security.

In 2017 the Annual Civil Society Dialogue on Women, Peace and Security will focus on expanding our understanding of what Women, Peace and Security (WPS) means in practice across the diversity of women’s experiences in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Focus of the Roundtable Discussions

    • What does WPS mean in practice?
    • What are the key issues, experiences and information which influence this understanding?
    • How does this understanding influence the way women, civil society and government make decisions about peace and security?
