The Australian Civil Society Coalition on Women, Peace and Security and Monash Gender, Peace and Security launched the Fourth Annual Civil Society Report Card on Australia’s National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security on 11 May 2017.
The report card evaluates actions taken under the auspices of the National Action Plan to fulfill Australia’s commitment to the United Nation’s Women, Peace and Security agenda. This year’s report focuses upon the development of Australia’s second NAP, due for release in 2019, and emphasises the importance of establishing an inclusive process that will capture and direct Australia’s contribution to advancing
the WPS agenda, internationally as well as domestically.
This year’s report card is again funded by the Australian Civil-Military Centre (ACMC).
