Women, Peace and Security infographics

To achieve the transformative vision of the women, peace and security agenda we need to find linkages between  Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and existing international agendas/conventions. The tables and graphics below are the Australian WPS Coalition’s first attempts to make visible the links between the four WPS pillars (prevention, participation, protection, relief and recovery), the Sustainable Development Goals, World Humanitarian Summit, Convention of the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the Beijing Platform for Action. We have also tried to map the four WPS pillars with the provisions in each of the eight UN Security Council Resolutions on Women Peace and Security.

The Australian WPS Coalition would like to thank Social Good Outpost (http://thegrazingelk.com/) for their outstanding work on generating these tables and infographics. Founded by two women social entrepreneurs Social Good Outpost is a branch of the creative design company, The Grazing Elk, with a specific mission to help social enterprises, start-ups, non-profits and women-led projects succeed.
